Zhu’s Pan-Asain restaurant is the best vegan Asian food you can get in Boston! Everything is fresh and there’s so much variety – from soups, to lo mein, to spring rolls, to General Tso’s Soy protein.
It’s a great place to go with a big group or an occasion, as most dishes are big enough to share. The food comes out fast, and it really reminds me of the traditional foods that I ate before going vegan. They have seitan “spare ribs” and seitan “beef” lo mein. If you’re not one to go for the mock meats, they also have delicious dishes consisting of eggplant, tofu, and noodles.
I highly recommend checking this place out, or even celebrating a birthday there! Their desserts are delicious and consist of fried ice cream, fruit, rice pudding, and more!
