There’s a new all-vegetarian casual restaurant in town, and it has got to be one of my new favorite spots to go to! Saus at Bow Market is bringing their own spin on Impossible Burgers, poutine, Beyond Meat sausages, chili, and more to Somerville!
The first and original Saus is near Boston’s North End, except they are not vegetarian (although some snacks and sandwiches can be vegan-friendly.) This second location is 100% vegetarian and everything can be made vegan upon request.
I absolutely love everything about Saus at Bow Market. The decorations & interior, how fast the service is, how casual it is, and how delicious it is! Their BBQ Impossible Burger is one of the best burgers I’ve had, with its melty Daiya cheddar cheese, pickles, BBQ sauce, slaw, and fried shallots. I also recently their Thai style Beyond sausage which was also amazing. They do a fantastic job adding their own spices and sauces to the mock meats we all know and love.
Their vegan poutine is also made with Daiya cheddar shreds and mushroom gravy! You really can’t go wrong with anything from their menu.
